A Winter Wedding in the Swiss alps is already something pretty special. But getting married in a Snow Iglu – a place which only exists for a few months is unique. Sascha from Switzerland and Chris from the UK decided, that the Iglu Dorf in Gstaad is the perfect place for them to tie the knot. Both live in Devon, UK.
The Wedding was planned by Evelyne Scharer from your perfect day who made sure, that even with high winds blowing, everyone would reach the summit on 2000m where the Iglu Village was ready for us. The colors where in a beautiful winters pastel tones, white, green and grey which matched the brides cashmere top over her stunning gown. Dinner in the cosy Chalet and the Wedding Party took place in the beautiful the Hotel Huus in Gstaad. For the right beat at the reception the couple had a bagpiper playing. While often, the pipers are playing a rather tranquil music, Tom made the entire place rock. The Wedding cake was made of the finest local Swiss Cheeses. My heart just truly bounces for such fairy tales.
