A look back

Filed in Wedding — January 18, 2019

The new year of 2019 has started and I want to share some of my special moments  from the past year 2018 with you all. We had wonderful moments, love, joy but also some tears. It was very meaningful to all of us and hence I look much forward to whats ahead of me.

January

What better start into the season than a snowy winter wedding? We loved being at the Guarda Val Hotel

Top of the Pilatus in Lucerne, where they danced on and on and on… Hotel Kulm

Mai

2018 was the year of the mountain weddings. This spring day in May we photographed Sandra and Patrick  at the Hotel Mettmen in Glarus.

The Schupfen is directly at the River and is a stunnign location to get married under the beautiful trees with view to the river and over to germany.

July

With these cute bride and groom we had the funniest ceremony this year. Walensee Murg, Sagibeiz

August

One of my favorite first dance photographs this year. Wedding and celebration at the Belvoir in Zurich and Ruschlikon

August

Staying at the  Lenk Lodge, they celebrated on top of the Bühlberg at the panoramic view restaurant.

The lovely ladies of Sieda grew during the shooting for their first book really close to me. How many days we sat together, organised, took photos, rearranged because it wasn’t perfect enough, made a Fall and Christmas decoration in August, trinking coffee and sorting out pictures. It was so much fun watching these two laughing, working and enjoying their passing creating beautiful things out of concrete.

September

I absolutely love the following Wedding picture. The light, the atmosphere in it.  Taken in the Park of the Villa Villette

Take me to Paris, or not? This getting ready wants me to travel even more.

Beautiful Lake Brienz in the Bernese Highlands.

Details. I just can’t live without them.

A few years ago I photographed their wedding – now I was invited to photograph their baby.

September

Stunning Galia Lavah dress with a more stunning bride. Castle Spiez and Gstaad where they celebrated are top locations with views you don’t want to take your eyes off.

Relais Chateux Krone in Regensberg, just around my corner but if you’re there, it’s like you are in another world.

November

How can a year end if not with a Wedding proposal for the women of your dreams? They travelled from London, stopped at the Seehotel Waldstätterhof to spend the rest of their holidays in Switzerland and making a “only” photoshoot (so she thought…) But in the middle he went down on his knees and popped the big question. And of course she said yes!
