It’s snowing outside and Spring is far away in sight. Right time to look back at my destination Wedding last October, which took me to Stillwater, Minnesota. A wedding one of a kind, so unique, crazy and hence so bittersweet. When two families become one, there is lots of love everywhere. It’s Halloween.
Whoever expects now a romantic bride, with a vintage or bohemian style, flowers in her hair stop right here. Cause Caileigh was everything beside this. Her style was so unique as her wedding was. One of a kind!
It was October 31 – Halloween, when Caileigh and Grant were celebrating their wedding at the Arcola Mills with friends, family, Grant’s sweet daughter who was the flower-butterfly-girl and their 2 dogs. The Bride’s look was so incredibly special. When I saw that she was wearing a Vera Wang dress I got excited. When I took a closer look to her tattooed arms and realized that it would be a Halloween wedding, I was wondering how this all would fit, but it did – and I loved it. Because every bride has her own, perfect look. Caileigh did something very unique – nobody will ever forget how she looked as a bride that day.
Asking me overseas to photograph a wedding is such a honor for me. There are so many wonderful photographers in the area, and I was trusted to capture her day. After the beautiful dance with the bride and her dad, Grant took his little girl into his arms – to dance their very own Father-Daughter dance. It’s these moments that make a wedding special and unforgettable. And now the moments are captured forever.
I wish them a wonderful life together with their family, who soon will have another member. Congratulations to the Peters!
