Schloss Schadau

Filed in Wedding — November 20, 2013

To describe this unique wedding, I am missing words. Everything about it was simply stunning. The location was one of a kind in the heart of Switzerland, a traditional swiss castle which reminds you with it’s small towers of a scorcerer’s tale, the perfect weather and sky lanterns at night. A story, made for a fairytale. In the center of all this where Amandine & Patrick, who celebrated their marriage with family and friends on this wonderful summerday. What a sweet and charming couple they are – it’s a priviledge to know them and an honor to have captured the moments of their wedding day!

The wedding was set in a Vintage style which we found in many lovely details throughout the entiry day. Amandine & Patrick chose the Castle Schadau in Thun for their wedding location, which history goes back into the 14th century. The ceremony took place by the nearby very old church Scherzligen, first time noted in the year 792. What a history! For once I wish, I could rewind time – to live this day again… Congratulations to Amandine & Patrick!

A. Roth said 1872 about Schadau:

“The Castle Schadau is an of menhands made pearl,
set in the tiara of the alps,
that nature made in its happiest hours”
