If you have a bucket list you want to make sure, that you have “intivation to a Greek Wedding” on it! You don’t want to miss this – seriously. When I was a little girl, I used to watch my Grandmother dance along the greek music Sirtaki on many occasions. She had a big passion for the country she visited almost every second year. But listening to the music is not enough. I am very happy that I had the chance, to photograph Zoé and René’s Swiss-Greek wedding celebration this August. Since that day, I am a big fan and I hope that other greek weddings will follow.
The celebration took place under the beautiful trees of the Grand Casino Baden Gardens. Knowing the unpredictable swiss weather, these two were playing Roulette, which added perfectly to their Casino-Las Vegas Themed wedding, and won the jackpot! It was just perfect.
Chandeliers decorated the trees and gave an romantic atmosphere into the celebration; followed by a open air reception in the park. The wedding theme – green – showed also in many different occasions. Every guest had to wear something green. What a fun, to spot the details. But if you ask me, my very favorite part of the day was the traditional greek dances at night. They really rocked, what a party! It could lasted all night long.
Looking in many stores all around Switzerland, Zoé did not had any luck and found the dress she dreamed of. So she designed her own wedding dress. She drew a picture and hired a seamstress. I love such personal details.
